Flex-Silo – The new EICHHOLZ all round system with a portable silo baseplate from concrete

The new silo baseplate from concrete once more highlights the competency of the Eichholz enterprise from Emsland/Germany in the area of silo and plant manufacturing. The new re-usable baseplate should create a high demand in this industrial sector, because there are numerous arguments in favour of applying this new EICHHOLZ all round system. And it’s this easy: Eichholz enterprise delivers the silo together with a portable concrete baseplate. The customer then defines the site, where the concrete baseplate for the silo is placed; the silo is anchored in the baseplate and – is ready for use. Due to the high weight of the concrete slab, no additional anchoring is required. Furthermore, a clean connection between silo skirt and baseplate is guaranteed by the smooth and frost-proof concrete plate.
Another advantage of the new EICHHOLZ all round silo system is its flexibility: The portable silo system can be moved to another place at any point in time. Furthermore, the silo has variable anchor tracks, which allows installation of silos with different diameters.

Last but not least the new silo system also excels with respect to its economy: Because no foundation is needed for erecting the portable silo plate; that means there is no need for planning permission and related costs. Not only does this reduce the cost of investment, but also the entire construction period.

Big Bag discharge stations

In the area of bulk material handling, the “Eichholz Silo- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG” now offers a new version of the Big Bag discharge system Sacks and Octabins, apart from Big Bags, can now also be emptied in the new combined station in an easy way and low in dust pollution.

Fast feeding is possible thanks to a new universal lifting cross and to a moving chain hoist. The sturdy frame construction from steel can be equipped with a vibration bottom or with a bag kneading unit for discharge of hard flowing and bridge forming materials, if required. A large variety of conveyor and discharge systems can be connected for further transportation of the materials.

Big Bag kneading unit

We increased the efficiency of our Big Bag discharge stations once more by improving our pneumatic kneading unit. PET grinds, e.g. tend to form bridges. In order to support discharge of such hard flowing products, we use this kneading system, which consists of several pneumatic cylinders. These cylinders push the Big Bag from below or from the side in alternating order, so that the material will be loosened and can be released.

Octabin stations

For emptying Octabins filled with granules, we offer our Octabin station. It is equipped with a lifting device, which allows to tilt the Octabin by 30° and to bring it to the point, where it will release the material. The station is equipped with a special mechanism for opening the containers. The bulk material flows via a discharge tube into a suction box, which can be designed in a flexible way using several suction ports with different diameters.
